Anne Ananga, NP

Dr. Anne Ananga is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. She is the Director of Clinical Operations at Ability Plus Mental Health Clinic. She completed her Doctorate and master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Medicine from The University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB). Psychiatric services that she provides include mental health evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy through telepsychiatry. She brings a lot of experience from the Hospital, in patient, and outpatient clinics. Her specialties include anxiety disorders, ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, sleep disorders, psychosis, schizophrenia, women’s mental health issues, and substance use disorders. She provides MAT (Suboxone case management). Her areas of interest include eating disorders, chemical dependency, and sustaining recovery.
